Hi Fiona Soutter here from Super Savvy Business and we are live here at the Ultimate Web Blueprint workshop in Sydney.
In a moment we are going to be talking about mobile and mobile marketing.
0:22: I think as business owners, it’s really important to start thinking about the image we are portraying on mobile devices because I’ve read some statistics from Morgan Stanley research that suggest that by the year 2015, more people will be accessing the internet from mobile devices than desktop devices.
0:41 So it’s very important that we think about as business owners what our websites look like on these mobile devices. There’s nothing worse than going to a website on a mobile and having to pinch and scroll and work out where things are because the writing is so incredibly small.
So, if you are a website owner, go and have a look at your website on a mobile and see what it looks like.
1:05 Are you making it easy for people to do the most basic things they want to do when they’re looking at your business from a mobile device – such as:
- click to call
- finding out your opening hours
- finding a map of where you are
- learning about your products or services
These are the basic things that people want to know.
