Hi it’s Fiona Soutter here from Super Savvy Business and we are live at the Ultimate Web Blueprint in Melbourne.
00:17 Does content marketing really make a difference in getting traffic — and ultimately customer leads — on your website?
Today we’re talking about the impact that content marketing has on the traffic to your website and how that converts into leads.
00:25 Research has revealed the key difference in generating 48% more traffic to your website
We’ve been looking at a study from Hubspot that was done with over 2,000 businesses, and one of the things they found was that companies that have 51 to 100 pages generally have over 48% more traffic to their website than those that have only 1 to 50 pages.
00:44 How do social sites like Facebook help generate more website traffic?
We’ve also been looking at the correlation this has on the traffic from Facebook and Twitter back to your website — the more Likes and the more tweets you have, the more followers, the more traffic you get back to your site.
So these are really important things to consider if you are a website owner.
01:00 An easy way to understand why the number of pages affect the traffic you get to your website
If you think about it this way, you can see that the more pages on your site, are like having more “doors” to your business.
01:10 So make sure you are constantly creating content that will allow people to find you and your business and your website.
That’s all we have for today. My name is Fiona Soutter from Super Savvy Business.
