Now, I’m really excited. I have just come off the back end of a 3 day weekend workshop with my private coaching clients from the Savvy Mastermind program. We have had our Faculty Experts come to speak and share their expertise with our members and we covered a whole range of different topics, such as:
- Strategic Alliances
- Mobile Apps
- Video Marketing
- and much, much more.
I also covered the internet marketing trends for 2014.
What are the Top Internet Marketing Trends for 2014?
We really should be – as business owners – planning ahead right now and thinking about what our strategy, our online marketing strategy is going to be for next year and making sure we’ve got everything in place for that.
But as wonderful as the training was (and the feedback I got from our members was just astounding) there was something which was even more special.
You see, last year I became involved with a really worthwhile cause called Sister2Sister. This is an organization which supports teenage girls who were either at risk, neglected or being abused and a mentoring program which helps to give these girls encouragement, give them someone they can talk to, someone they can trust, someone they can rely on. The organization also helps these girls to learn a little bit more about life and life skills, encouraging these teenage girls stay on track and start their lives in a really positive way.
I was involved last year as a Big Sister and I mentored a young girl. We formed a very very close relationship and we still, to this day, stay in touch. I saw first-hand the impact that this program has on young girls.
This year I have been very busy with Super Savvy Business, but one of the things I love about being an entrepreneur is that you can give back.
So at the beginning of the Savvy Mastermind Weekend Intensive I came up with this idea that we would hold an auction at the last day. Each of our Faculty Experts donated a product or service to this auction.
I had no idea how it was going to go and I was just blown away. We raised, in the space of 20 minutes, $3,500 to donate for the Step Up For Sisterhood fundraising challenge for Sister2Sister.
I shared this story because I believe so passionately in this cause, and these young girls and the way that they are helped. I just wanted to encourage those of you who are out there, who may be looking for an organization or a cause to support… Sister2Sister is a fantastic worthwhile cause.
I just want to give a big big shout out to all the Faculty Experts that made this happen:

These amazing experts were so incredibly generous in donating products and services that we could auction. It was only because of them that we were able to raise $3,500.
The thing is, I’m not finished yet.
I would love to be able to raise more money for Sister2Sister.
