Hi, it’s Fiona Soutter here from Super Savvy Business and today we are live at the Ultimate Web Blueprint at the Gold Coast.
0:17 – The myth of content marketing: Is it REALLY that time consuming?
What we’re doing today is demonstrating how you can create content quickly and easily on a shoes
tring budget.
A lot of business owners are concerned that in order to have a strong content marketing strategy they are going to have to spend a lot of time and energy creating content, and that it might be an expensive exercise.
0:37 – The content marketer’s wonder-gadget: the iPhone
But what we’re doing is showing that we can use something as easy as an iPhone to record a video and then how we can take that video and turn it into an mp3, a blog post, a PDF document… we can take a photo with our phone to create an image for our posts and we can repurpose these across multiple formats and then push it out to dozens and dozens of websites around the internet.
1:03 – The content marketer’s secret weapon: an outsourced VA
It’s something that we could do… we could record a video such as this a couple of minutes and then pay an outsource staff member who is offshore just a small amount of money to take care of all the admin side of it.
1:17 – Content Marketing is time consuming? Myth busted!
So really as a business owner you only need to spend probably an hour – and hour and a half per week which will give you 2 to 3 pieces of content for your website.
That’s all we have for today. Everyone at the Gold Coast if you’d like to say “Hi!” just wave your hands and say “Hi!’.
And here we are, my name is Fiona Soutter at the Ultimate Web Blueprint on the Gold Coast and we’ll see you in the next post.
